Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) -Home Care

 At Golden Frog Home care, we want you to feel confident and informed. 

Below are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about our services. Please reach us at goldenfrogcare@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We provide compassionate, non-medical home care services, including personal care, assistance with daily living activities, companionship, medication reminders, and transportation support. We also offer adult day care services in a safe and engaging environment. 


We accept Medicaid, private insurance, and private pay.
For Medicaid clients (under the Long-Term Care/HCBS program), our services are completely free.
We can assist you with the application process if you’re not enrolled yet.
For those who don’t qualify for Medicaid, we offer affordable private pay rates. 


Our services are available to adults and seniors who need non-medical support at home or in our adult day care program. Services are open to clients funded through Medicaid, private pay, or a combination of both. 


You can start by filling out our new client form. Once we receive your form, a member of our care team will contact you to discuss your needs, assess eligibility, and develop a personalized care plan. 


We currently provide services in Denver, Colorado, and surrounding communities. Please contact us to confirm whether your location is within our service area. 


Yes! All of our caregivers undergo thorough background checks, training, and supervision. They are trained in personal care, safety, and emergency procedures to provide high-quality, compassionate care. 


Absolutely. We create a personalized care plan for every client based on their preferences, abilities, and health needs. Plans can be updated as needs change. 


Home care services are available 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends. Our adult day care program is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. (Hours may vary — please contact us for current schedules.) 


Client safety is our top priority. Our policies include caregiver screening, emergency protocols, infection control procedures, and ongoing supervision to ensure the well-being of all clients.

Our day care hours are designed to meet family needs.
We plan to begin pickups at 7:00 AM and drop clients off between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, depending on location and individual schedules. 


Yes! We offer door-to-door transportation for our participants—both to and from the center, as well as transportation for off-site activities and outings. 


 We provide a variety of engaging and stimulating activities, including:

  • Light physical exercises
     
  • Games and puzzles
     
  • Arts & crafts
     
  • Brain-challenging activities
     
  • Music and social time


We plan to have a nurse on call, and a nurse on-site for at least 2 hours per day to assist with vital checks and medication administration.
Additionally, we have a full-day Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on-site to support personal care needs. 


We are working to offer therapy services in the near future and will update families as soon as they become available. 


Yes, we do accept participants with mental health conditions.
However, we are unable to accommodate individuals with aggressive behavior or those who require one-on-one care throughout the day.


Yes, we provide nutritious lunches and snacks daily for all our attendees, taking dietary needs into account.
